Erigga was born on March 30, 1987, into a family of five children in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria. He is the eldest of his siblings. Initially, he had no aspirations of pursuing music, as he was more focused on sports, particularly basketball. During his secondary school years, he actively participated in the Milo Basketball Championship and even played professionally for the Delta State Basketball team.
