The company you keep is not a reflection of who you are – Dino Melaye says as he distances himself from Hushpuppi.
Popular Nigerian politician Dino Melaye has finally reacted to the arrest of Dubai-based big boy Hushpuppi. The outspoken politician took to the micro-blogging platform, Twitter, to air his opinion.
Sharing a photo of him together with the acclaimed real estate developer, Dino said that the company a person keeps is not a reflection of who they are.
In the photo he took with Hushpuppi, they stood together and smiled at the camera. Meanwhile, photos of both men have been seen together on a number of times on the internet.
It was earlier reported that the rich boy was involved in a fraud of N13.5bn ($35m) meant for ventilators to treat COVID-19 Native Americans.
With his arrest by Interpol in Dubai, the politician wanted people to know that he is not involved with Hushpuppi’s fraudulent activities, however, it was noted that the tweet isn’t from Dino’s official Twitter page.
But that did not stop Nigerians from reacting on it as they took to the comment section to air their opinions.
The International Police Nigeria said it is making plans to extradite Instagram celebrity Raymond Igbalodely from the United Arab Emirates to Nigeria to face alleged multiple fraud charges. The Nations reported that the INTERPOL is also on the trail of other accomplices in the alleged fraud who are resident in Nigeria to bring them to justice.
In another story, Bobrisky slammed hypocrites as he showed public support for Hushpuppi.
The crossdresser tagged people criticizing the big spender as hypocrites. According to the self-acclaimed male barbie, these same people were once in the big money spender’s DM asking for money.
The male barbie who stated that he knew he would receive backlash for his post, expressed his support for the big boy whose lavish lifestyle made him popular on Instagram.
