Uzor Arukwe, born August 6th, 1983 is a Nigerian actor from Nkwerre Local Government of Imo State, in southeastern Nigeria. He is known for acting in movies and theater performances.
He studied at Nigerian Navy Secondary School in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. He later earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and another Bachelor’s degree in Arts (Economics) from Abia State University. After that, he moved to Calabar, where he got a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Uzor Arukwe has acted in many movies, including A Tribe Called Judah, Malaika, Head Over Bills, Momiwa, and Love in Every Word.
Career
He started acting in 2014 with his first Nollywood movie, Unspoken Truth. However, he became well-known after playing a role in Sergeant Tutu. His role as a private investigator in the 2019 movie Code Wilo also gained attention.
In 2020, he was nominated for Best Actor in Comedy or Movie at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) for his roles in Smash and Size 12. In 2021, he was nominated for Best Actor at the Best of Nollywood Awards for his role in Yours Regardless.
